Teaching and Learning Center

The Mary McDowell Teaching and Learning Center (MMTLC) offers training and consultation on learning disabilities and related educational topics to educators and parents throughout the New York City metropolitan area.

We are proud to offer the following professional development services to schools, afterschools, and community-based organizations throughout the NYC metropolitan area:

  • On-site and off-site professional development programs for public and independent school staff and faculties
  • On-site consulting services for ongoing support in a variety of educational settings
  • Informational programs for parents

All workshops can be modified to meet the needs of your group. Topics can be presented in a variety of formats for professionals and/or parent groups. Workshops can be a single session (except for Orton Gillingham Training) or multiple sessions with or without follow-up consultations. Customized consulting packages are also available.
