What They’re Saying
About MMFS

October 02, 2020

Word gets around! Take a look at this article in Avenue magazine, “How New York City Special Education Schools are Helping Children with Learning Disabilities Stay Competitive.” MMFS is cited for its ability to “excel at teaching nontraditional learners with highly skilled educators and individualized programs.” Debbie is quoted at length on many topics, encapsulating the MMFS philosophy this way:  “’Our kids get into excellent colleges, some of the top colleges,’ she says, listing Vassar, Smith, George Washington, Wesleyan, and NYU among the universities the 2020 graduating class was accepted by. ‘That’s because they get the support they need to be really successful. You need to know what you need to learn, and you need to know how to advocate for yourself, and you need to know how to get the accommodations you require. Then you will be successful throughout.’”
