This year’s MMFS middle school soccer team had a terrific season. It was truly a pleasure to see how much students improved and became a confident team over the course of the season. We can’t be more proud of this fun and competitive group of players. They were caring, cohesive team members who left it all out on the field, regardless of the outcome of the game. Although they did not qualify for the playoffs, the team competed with pride and passion from start to finish.
We commend these players for committing themselves to the team throughout the season while juggling homework and extracurricular activities on a daily basis. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to have coached this bunch of hardworking and superb athletes. More importantly, we were so impressed with the way they conducted themselves traveling to and from games, their sportsmanship after each game, and how they have represented the MMFS community – with pride and dignity.
We’d especially like to thank to the team members’ parents, who played such a huge role in supporting the team and being the best fan base for these athletes. The dedication of parents helps the players give their all each and every game. Thanks to everyone for another fun soccer season!
