Lower School
On Monday, the lower school took to the streets to celebrate PRIDE Month. The students wore rainbow colors and carried Pride posters they made themselves. Faculty, staff, and students walked down Court Street chanting “Give me a P! Give me an R! Give me an I! Give me a D! Give me an E! What does that spell? PRIDE!” and “Love is love! Love is love!”
This year the theme of NYC Pride is Strength in Solidarity. It was heartening to see our students joining together in support of one another. Their enthusiasm elicited a very positive response from passersby, who applauded and honked their horns. Enjoy the photos.
