Tess Lichtman joined the MMFS community in 2005 as a student in Room 1, which later became the Lucretia Mott Room. She fondly remembers being in class with lower school teachers Michelle and Kristin, who still work at the lower school today. While at MMFS, Tess took a forensics class as her senior elective, which deepened an already growing interest in all things scary and spooky. After graduating with the class of 2016, Tess matriculated to Hartwick College with a plan. “I always wanted to go into archeology,” she shared. “I was always interested in scary movies and things associated with archeology, like skeletons.” Tess also loves Egyptology. She is on track to graduate in the spring with a major in Archaeology and Anthropology.
Skeletons aren’t the only thing Tess is interested in. As a full-time student at Hartwick, she understands the importance of taking time to relax between classes. She loves to play piano and even rides horses when she can. Some words of advice from Tess to this year’s senior class: “Think over your decisions carefully before applying to college. Consider your options and take your time to make a final decision.”
