Lower School:
Clubs
Friday afternoons are fun time! Three times a year students select from a variety of creative offerings led by teachers. Recent popular clubs include the Bergen Street Post, Coding, Beading, Jewelry Making, D&D, Model Magic, Sci-Fi and Fantasy, Karaoke, Board Games, Basketball, Football, and Brain Teasers.
Middle School:
Workshops
Everyone looks forward to Friday afternoons when students meet students from other classes for workshops! Each trimester, you can pick a new club to explore an interest or learn a new skill. Recent favorites include McDowell Friends Gazette, Ice Cream Making, Needlefelting, Melty Beads, Soccer, Origami, and Climate Kids Club.
Upper School:
Clubs & Co-Curriculars
Clubs bring together students from different grades. The fun activities include Crocheting, Chess, Journaling and Poetry, Cooking, and E-Sports. Co-Curriculars are required and complement the academic curriculum. Choices include Model UN, History of Hip Hop, Portfolio Development, Jazz Band, Yearbook, Lightning Press, and Community Events.
