More than 250 members of the MMFS community came out for
Illuminations: Benefit 2026; Building a Brilliant Future on May 7. It was a true celebration—first-time attendees to longtime members of our community connecting and reconnecting, while enjoying great food and music. Head of School André Del Valle presented the Violet Longobardi Award to Middle School Dean Jim Signorelli for his extraordinary dedication to Mary McDowell Friends School, and Head Emerita Debbie Zlotowitz made a guest appearance to give Adam's Prize to departing trustees Deborah Edel and Danny Freelander in recognition of their contributions to the field of educating children with learning disabilities.
